Greek "Ismael Blanco": poet and drug dealer

When he was taken to the extortion department, he did not… express his thoughts as in his poetry books, and chose to keep his mouth shut regarding where he found “guns, grenades, weapons, and many different parts and skeletons of weapons ”, which the police found on him and in his house.

A police patrol investigation was carried out on the basis that his vehicle had apparently false license plates. According to the police, “A pistol with a magazine containing 10 rounds of ammunition was found on him. In addition, the following were found and seized in the trunk of the car: 31 pistol frames, 5 identical metal parts of firearm slides without markings and 12 identical metal parts originating from the bases of military rifles.”. A lot of weapons were also found in the house.

• gas gun,
• 5 gas cylinders and many metal balls,
• 2 mills with cannabis residues,
• knife with a total length of 25 centimeters, blade length 13 centimeters,
• metal part of the weapon,
• 194 cartridges, 10 firearms bullets and 5 cartridges of various calibers,
• 2 grenade launchers,
• 4 smoke bombs,
• 2 gas masks with three filters,
• mobile phone and laptop computer.

A man with the initials M.P., who studied electrical and mechanical engineering at Cardiff University in England, was arrested for driving in 2007 Porsche, had with him 300 grams of cocaine, 3.5 kilograms of marijuana and a pistol. This was his first experience with drug trafficking.

Three years later, in 2010, while in a relationship with a famous model who later became an aesthetician, he was arrested as the organizer of the transportation of 83.7885 kilograms of cocaine on the sailing ship DODO. Moreover, he made the trip to Sivota, where the ship with drugs was heading, together with his pregnant girlfriend. His accomplice was a repeat offender from Venezuela whom he met in prison while he was serving time for another shipment of large quantities of cocaine. Ultimately, the DEA foiled their plans, and the Polish captain lost the sailboat that was supposed to be his reward for transporting illegal cargo.

However, the Greek “Ismael Blanco” did not say goodbye to the world of drugs at this point… In 2015, already at large, he was again arrested with a substantial batch of the drug “skunk” from the Drug Enforcement Administration. By that time, he had already begun to write and publish collections of poetry. Moreover, he gave one of his books to a policeman, who handcuffed him, even writing him an author's note.

The man arrested on Sunday morning (12/1) was taken to the prosecutor of Piraeus.
