AAΔE: more than 72,000 tax audits planned for 2025

Independent body for collecting government revenue (ΑΑΔΕ), in accordance with the plan contained in the decision of his head Georgios Pitsilis (Γιώργος Πιτσιλής)will hold in 2025 more 72,000 tax audits.

In particular АΑΔΕ will hold 26,000 full checks, 25 400 visiting and 2500 on real estate transactions. Besides, 17 600 targeted checks and 900 tax evasion investigations.

Targeted audits will be carried out based on specific criteria to select cases that are more suspicious and therefore leave more opportunities for revenue generation.

Those who abuse the tax exemption in the amount of 800,000 euros for parental gifts, as well as those who do not comply with the rule about the need to pay for real estate through a bank account.
