On the night of December 26, in the southern Athens suburb of Nea Smyrni, a large tree fell on a parked vehicle.
Fortunately, no passers-by or car drivers were injured. writes CNN Greece edition. The incident occurred at the intersection of Megalo Alexandros and Konstantinos Paleologos streets. The huge roots of the tree destroyed the paving slabs, and the crown and trunk damaged the cars standing underneath.
