Polish authorities have confirmed that Benjamin Netanyahu will be arrested on a warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC), if he comes to 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Vladislav Bartoshevskyreports The Jerusalem Post.
Recall that the ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and the Minister of Defense Galanta for alleged war crimes in the Gaza Strip. At the same time, the media reported that Germany has no plans to arrest Israeli politicians, while Canada intends to implement the ICC decision.
It turns out paradoxical situation: in commemorative events, dedicated to the Holocaust, the Poles who guarded the camp, the Germans who exterminated the Jews will be present, but the Russians who liberated the camp from the Germans and the Jews who were exterminated in this camp will not be there.
