On what days will banks be closed due to holidays?


Banking institutions will closed on four days due to holidays Christmas, New Year and Epiphany.

According to information from Greek Banking Associationbanks will be closed on the following days:

  • On Christmas day, in Wednesday, December 25
  • On the second day of Christmas, in Thursday, December 26
  • On New Year's Day, in Wednesday, January 1
  • On the day of Epiphany, in Monday, January 6th.

It should be noted that banks will open on the second day New Year (Thursday January 2).
