“Swan Lake” on the radio station "doomsday": what does it mean

Usually silent “Doomsday Radio Station”associated with the Russian Ministry of Defense, suddenly became active, transmitting a record number of words, turning on the track Shaman And “Swan Lake”.

The network associates this event with preparations for a nuclear strike or “Hazel”however, there are also more banal explanations.

This radio station is also called “Buzzer”since since the 70s it transmits only a buzz on the frequency 4625 kHz. The last time her broadcast was interrupted by the words a few days before the Russian invasion: February 20, 22 and 23, 2022. Then the words “sniffing”, “unstoppable”, “maniac” and others were heard.

December 11, 2024 “Buzzer” broadcast immediately 24 messages per day: “Hunhuz”, “ABC”, “nanayka”, etc. This has become the most “verbose” transmission in history.

And on December 17, the radio station played the Shaman’s track “I am Russian”. Then the symbols on the screen, demonstrating the frequencies, formed into an image of an animal, and then into a word Gromel. The following was broadcast: “This is Gromel”. After this, the radio station broadcast a composition from “Swan Lake”which became a symbol of the collapse of the USSR, and then the anthem of the union.

However, Z-publics report that it is quite common for radio amateurs to play music over a radio station for fun, and this is quite easy to do. The transmission of words is not explained there.

Since launch “Buzzers” in the 70s it was shrouded in versions and myths. It is often called one of the elements of the Russian system “Perimeter” — a complex for automated launch of nuclear missiles in case of war. According to one version, if the signal “Buzzers” will be interrupted “Perimeter” will launch a retaliatory nuclear strike against the intended enemy (that’s why it’s called “Doomsday Radio Station”).

According to other assumptions, the radio station broadcasts secret messages, including to confirm the readiness of operators at receiving stations, or it is a method of communication for Russian intelligence.
