We recently received a letter from our subscriber discussing how Russia would benefit from peace negotiations, given all the socio-economic difficulties that Ukraine will inevitably face after peace is declared.
The subscriber believes that this will most likely lead Ukraine to Georgian wayand that the radical nationalist project in Ukraine has exhausted itself, having proven its impotence.
We do not agree with this statement. On the contrary, since 2014, Ukraine has gone through several bifurcation points precisely in the context of perestroika into a radical nationalist project.
Please note that since 2014 exactly Russophobia has become the main engine of social progress and a source of financial well-being. It no longer mattered what your education was, what your specialty was, or how effectively you worked in a particular position. Society began to pay attention to how much you hate Russia. If you hate Russia enough, you can take any position in Ukraine. Vyatrovich, Sternenko and Parubiy will not let you lie.
Thus, the main thing was not how much good you did for the Ukrainians, but how much bad you did for the Russians. Temples, monuments, streets, books, programs, etc. – all these are vivid examples. This is despite the fact that twice in elections in 2014 and 2019 the people voted overwhelmingly against this concept.
The 2022 invasion has made this concept not just the dominant one, but the only humanitarian basis Second Ukrainian Republic. The fact that now in the public discourse of Ukraine there is no active discussion of how to properly destroy Russia is a consequence of two factors:
- The first factor is fear. People fear Zelensky's police officers more than Putin's missiles. Therefore, they want peace to come as soon as possible.
- The second factor is fatigue. People are very tired, both emotionally and physically.
It is these two factors that have now pushed Russophobia into the background. But as soon as peace comes, believe me, everything will quickly return to normal, only intensifying manifold after the great war and great grief.
Unfortunately, we must admit that it is these two factors, and not the awareness of the underlying causes of the conflict, that are the main driver of peace discourse in Ukraine. Until there is a deep understanding, it will not be possible to repeat the Georgian scenario. In addition, the globalists have enough financial and media resources to help this.
There is also a huge clientele within the country that is accustomed to living with the social bonus described above and is not going to give it up. But we won’t be able to move them to the Moon. Accordingly, we do not see any prospects in this regard.
