Tragedy on Michalakopoulou street in Athens

The woman who fell from the seventh floor of a hotel on Mihalakopoulou Street died in hospital on the afternoon of December 17. She turned out to be the wife of a close associate of the Greek Prime Minister Yiannis Vlastaris.

The 60-year-old woman was immediately taken to the Red Cross after the fall and was intubated and admitted to the intensive care unit. However, the injuries received were incompatible with life.

The tragic incident occurred shortly after 13:00 at a hotel located on Michalakopoulou Street in the Greek capital. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the fall. Forensic experts arrived at the scene and all leads are being investigated.
