The woman was lucky: a passing car driver saved her life, she says:

“A female driver appeared, she honked her car horn and chased the dog away. An ambulance arrived and I went to the hospital, where the doctors did a CT scan of my head and an X-ray.”

The neighbor of the injured woman says that the same dog had previously attacked him:

“Before she bit the woman, she attacked me, but I held back and she ran away. And then, when I came here to throw out the trash, I saw a girl chasing her in a car and honking her horn. And I said, why are you honking, and she answered that the dog bit the woman.”
