2 small earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 and 2.7 on the Richter scale occurred today in the north of Athens. The earthquake was felt throughout Attica.
The first earthquake in the Holargos area, with a magnitude of 2.3, occurred on Wednesday, December 11 at 17:10. The depth of the earthquake source was 5 kilometers.
According to the Geodynamic Institute, the magnitude of the second earthquake was 2.7 on the Richter scale, and its source was again located nearby, in Agia Paraskevi. The depth of the earthquake was 5 kilometers, and it was also very noticeable throughout Attica.
