Taiwan is on full alert after the decision China enter restrictions on aviation flights in areas bordering Taiwanthe government said in a statement released today (09/12).
“The Chinese military has imposed seven airspace restriction zones in areas east of Zhejiang and Fujian, two Chinese provinces opposite Taiwan.“, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

From December 9 to 11, China established seven restricted airspaces in the Zhejiang-Fujian region, with one of them extending east of the median line of the Taiwan Strait, and stationed seven coast guard ships near Taiwanese waters.
Meanwhile, Taipei said it had spotted dozens of Chinese ships near the Taiwan Strait and in the Pacific Ocean and signaled it had begun “preparations for combat.”
“Chinese restrictions on air traffic and Taipei's preparatory maneuvers come days after Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te's tour of the Pacific Ocean, which was angrily condemned by Beijing.“, Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in an additional statement.
