According to the President of the Greek Hoteliers Federation, early bookings for next year show a significant increase compared to the same period last year. Many hotels are now offering discounts of up to 25%, or even more, for early bookings, and the increased demand may be due to tourists taking advantage of these offers. notes GreekReporter.
According to UK villa management company CV Villas, bookings for 2025 luxury villas in Greece increased by 29% compared to the same period last year and reflects strong demand among high-spending tourists.
It is expected that 2024 will end with record tourist arrivals and revenues. Next year Greece hopes to set new records in the tourism sector, with the government expecting to receive millions of euros in new levies in the hospitality and tourism sectors. These include an increase in the climate resilience fee and a new fee for cruise passengers.

According to the Institute of the Hellenic Tourism Confederation (INSETE), Greece welcomed 22.6 million international flights in the first nine months of 2024, up from 20.9 million in the same period in 2023.
