A monk has disappeared on Mount Athos, a search is underway

Today, December 3, the alarm was raised on Mount Athos due to the disappearance of a monk from the monastery of Xenophon.

A search and rescue operation began. To find the missing one, writes CNN Greece, five people from the Greek Rescue Team (Ελληνικής Ομάδας Διάσωσης) from Thessaloniki, Kavala and Chalkidiki went to the mountain. A specially trained dog is taking part in the search, and a drone is being used.
