A Russian was arrested in accordance with an international arrest warrant in Vari

At noon on Wednesday, November 27, employees of the Vari investigative department detained a 37-year-old man who was wanted by the Russian authorities on an international arrest warrant.

He is accused of introducing malicious software onto the Internet and gaining access to corporate bank accounts. The warrant was issued on a charge of aggravated theft.

In 2011, together with other accomplices, the arrested person introduced malware and carried out the withdrawal of funds, writes Greek edition newsbeast.gr. From his criminal activities, the man received monetary benefits in the amount of more than 6 million Russian rubles.
