Flight from New York to Paris in… the toilet

A stowaway on a flight from New York to Paris was discovered at the end of the flight. The woman was moving from one toilet to another.

Last Tuesday, she flew on Delta Airlines from New York's Kennedy International Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport without a boarding pass and was detained upon arrival in France.

A video posted on social media by a passenger shows the moment the captain announced on board the plane that they were waiting for security personnel:

“Says the captain. We're just waiting for the police to come on board. They may be here now and they have ordered us to keep everyone on the plane until we can deal with the additional passenger that is on the plane.”

The stowaway has not been identified, although CBS News reported that it was a woman. Flight passenger Rob Jackson told the New York Times that the flight was normal until the descent began and the flight attendants' intercoms began to go off over and over again.

“I fly a lot, and it was unusual that this happened during landing.”

According to him, as soon as the plane landed, the captain ordered passengers to remain seated until the situation was resolved. Mr Jackson said six or seven police officers then boarded the plane and he heard a flight attendant tell them that a woman had been going from one toilet to another during the flight.
