Ukrainian authorities announced that they will have to introduce emergency power outagesespecially in Kyiv, while the temperature hovers around zero. “Once again the energy sector is under massive enemy attack,” — the Minister of Energy of Ukraine emphasized via Facebook.

Loud explosions occurred in Odessa. A missile launch was recorded. Energy is under a massive enemy missile attack, said Energy Minister German Galushchenko. Emergency blackouts have been introduced in the Odessa region; the schedules are not yet in effect.
Power outages have begun in Kyiv, Odessa and Dnieper, the management company reported DTEK. Russia has reportedly targeted Ukrainian energy facilities, leading to explosions in several cities. Ukrainian sources indicate that in Kyiv and other regions there were blackouts.

Russia will escalate attacks as winter approaches, targeting energy infrastructure. There are not even two months left until the elected president takes office Donald Trumpand Moscow wants to achieve maximum territorial gains.
The Ukrainian army faces a serious problem staff shortageand the government of the outgoing US President Joe Biden called Kyiv lower the age limit for conscription to 18 years from the current 25, to mobilize more men, reminiscent of the time in 1945 when Germany conscripted all men between the ages of 16 and 60.
