A boat carrying migrants capsized on Monday 25 November north of Samos, killing eight migrants.
The rescue operation continues in the Galazio area, and 36 people have been identified by the Greek army. Three people who were on the rocky shore were freed by the coast guard.
Of the eight bodies discovered, six belong to minors and two belong to women. The search and rescue operation involves a helicopter, ground troops, two coast guard ships and ships passing nearby. The number of people on board the boat is not yet known, but there are reports of missing people. The area experiences winds of force 5-6 on the Beaufort scale.
