Let's go for a ride… A 15-year-old car driver injured in an accident died

A tragedy occurred in Serres. The car, driven by a fifteen-year-old teenager, lost control and crashed into a pole.

The accident occurred on Sunday at 9 a.m. on the Pontissimo-Iraklia provincial road. In addition to the driver, there were three children in the car: 9, 11 and 13 years old. For an unknown reason, the car flew off the road and crashed into a lamppost.

All four were taken by ambulance first to the Iraklia Medical Center and then to the Serres General Hospital. The driver was in critical condition and intubated. He died a few hours later in the intensive care unit. According to newsbeast.gr, the lives of the remaining children are not in danger.
