Canadian lawyer Christopher Black made a shocking statement, claiming that a CIA agent threatened to kill him and admitted that the Americans poisoned Slobodan Milosevic in The Hague prison.
Let us remind you that Milosevic found dead on 11 March 2006 in his cell in the Scheveningen prison complex. His body was discovered by a guard, and the prisoner was last seen alive the day before at 4:30 p.m. The day before his death, he spoke by phone with his brother Borislav, the former Yugoslav ambassador to Russia, and did not complain about his health.
Death of Milosevic was confirmed by health worker Paul Falke. Due to the weekend, the paperwork procedure was delayed, and only a few hours after the discovery of the body, a court representative appeared and signed the death certificate. The body was sent to the Netherlands Institute of Forensic Sciences, where pathologists concluded that the cause of death was a heart attack.
Nevertheless, Milosevic's family continues to insist that he was killed. The ex-president's lawyer, Zdenko Tomanovic, claims that in the days before his death, Milosevic told him about poisoning attempts when he was told to take the wrong medications. A rare antibiotic used to treat tuberculosis, which is not used in the European Union, was found in Milosevic's blood. This drug may reportedly reduce the effectiveness of medications used to control blood pressure.
Now Black claims that the US spread rumors in advance about Milosevic's possible suicide. His death occurred under highly suspicious circumstances, leaving behind a torn country and a message to his descendants that, 15 years later, turned out to be more than prophetic.
