Wolves appeared in the forest near a residential area in Koufalia (Thessaloniki), where city residents often walk.
Over the past year, the wolf population in Kufalia has increased, and the municipal government is drawing the population's attention to this fact. writes CNN Greece. Instructions from the Forest Department are expected soon. In the meantime, experts advise: if you encounter a forest predator while walking, remain calm, leave and immediately report it to the authorities.
Experts say one of the reasons for the approach of wolves to residential areas is the growth of the wild boar population.
