Patras: "psycho" wandered the streets with an ax in his hands

A few minutes before 20:00 on the evening of November 4 Patras police was alerted because of a man who walked around with an ax along one of the city streets.

According to information from pelop.gr, the man had psychological problems and was walking along Stratokleous Street. The same publication reports that we are talking about a 55-year-old local resident whom police noticed on the Fire Station Square with an ax in his hands.

According to tempo24, EL.AS. reported about a man who has psychological problems and walks around with an ax, threatening gods and demons.

The psychopath threatened to harm himself and reacted violently to police presence. The police were able to arrest him and the man was taken to the 1st police station of Patras, after which he was sent to a psychiatric clinic for examination.

It is noted that a negotiator went to the scene of the incident along with the police, but he was not needed. The website tempo24.gr reports that the same man was already involved in a similar incident in September 2022.
