A famous Greek model spoke about the nightmarish moments she experienced at the hands of her former partner, who was convicted of beating. However, despite the conviction and restraining order, he threatened her again last Saturday, and the girl filed a new lawsuit against him.
She brought four claims against her ex-partner, who was sentenced to three years and six months for grievous bodily harm but was given a suspended sentence instead of jail. In addition, he received a ban on approaching the model closer than 300 meters. But last Saturday he approached her in a famous nightclub in Athens and made threats, the girl complained.
“I'm afraid. I'm very afraid. I'm walking down the street and look around to see if there's someone there. I want him to pay for everything he did to me,” he says model.
“He does not appear to be aware of his actions and is not complying with the restraining order. Two days ago he approached her – despite the ban – and began to threaten her. A new complaint has been filed in connection with this incident. He was wanted as part of a car forum, but, as we know, he was not arrested“said the model’s lawyer Sofia Polizogopoulou.
The girl was first attacked on Christmas Day 2021. To this day she cannot forget the blows inflicted on her.
“In December he came to my house and started beating me. Very much. For three hours, think about it. It happens that I see him in a dream, I wake up and, because it is so real, I see myself in the mirror and lean towards my face, just in case I got hurt somewhere. Since a man can reach me so easily, I believe that he can kill me in the same easy way “, says the 23-year-old girl.
A hearing of the Court of Appeal on the beating claim is scheduled for December.

It is worth recalling the story that happened in the capital area Agios Anargyros in spring 2024. Then I found myself in a similar situation 28 year old Kiryaki. At the same time, despite numerous complaints about death threats and beatings from a former partner, the girl was literally pushed out of the police station. And near the site, she was stabbed to death by the man from whom she asked for protection.

The story made a lot of noise Police officers fired or demotedresponsible for the death of the girl, but this will not bring her back to life. It appears that the Greek police are still acting on the principle “When they kill you, then come and complain.”
