Three teenage brothers, aged 12, 14 and 16, found a wallet with money in Chania and handed it over to the police to be returned to its owner.
The teenagers live in the Children and Youth Protection Unit of Chania (former orphanage) of the Social Welfare Center for the Region of Crete. CNN Greece edition tellsthat while walking in the center of Chania, they found a wallet on the street and took it to find contact information. The guys found 732 euros in cash and cards in the wallet.
Without thinking twice, the teenagers contacted the leaders of the structure where they live, and together they went to the Chania police station, where they handed over their wallet with money. The police officers thanked the children for this act. After a short investigation, the owner of the wallet was identified. Thanking the children over the phone, he promised to definitely visit them at the Protection Center and meet them.
