According to the Georgian Central Election Commission, after counting votes in 97% of polling stations, the pro-Russian Georgian Dream party won 54.24% of the votes.
According to Central Election Commissionthe remaining votes were distributed among the opposition parties as follows:
- “Coalition for Change” – 10.80%,
- “Unity-National Movement” – 10.07%,
- “Strong Georgia” – 8.72%;
- “Gakharia is for Georgia” – 7.72%.
The remaining votes were divided among smaller parties. Opposition Georgian political forces stated that they did not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections in the country and announced protests.
The “Strong Georgia” coalition does not recognize the election results, one of the leaders of the political association, Anna Dolidze, stated this at a recent press conference:
“We are outraged by what the Central Commission dared to write. The results do not reflect the will of the Georgian people. These figures contradict the historical and current elections in Georgia, we are fighting for every vote, using all legal means to protect the democratic and European choice of the Georgian people. We're not going to let anyone take that choice away.”
Reputable non-governmental organizations that observed the elections also declared non-recognition of the election results. The “Coalition for Change” also does not recognize the elections, said its leader Nika Gvaramia. He says Georgian Dream is carrying out a constitutional revolution:
“The election fraud scheme has been deciphered, the public will learn detailed information about it on October 27. The election was stolen. This is a constitutional coup, “Dream” is the author of the constitutional coup and will be held accountable in the manner prescribed by the legislation of Georgia. We have deciphered the pattern of how the election was stolen.”
Ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili's Unity-National Movement party does not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections, said party leader Tina Bokuchava. At an emergency briefing, she said:
“The Central Election Commission of Georgia fulfilled Ivanishvili’s dirty order. “Unity – National Movement” goes into emergency mode.”

According to the exit poll conducted by the world-famous company Edisson Research, Georgian Dream received only 40% of the votes. According to pro-government exit polls, Georgian Dream won by a large margin – 56%.
