Crete: this is the 64-year-old professor accused of raping six minors from 1986 to 2010

Greek police have released the details of a 64-year-old retired teacher from Heraklion, Crete, who was arrested for raping six children between 1986 and 2010.

The youngest child was a boy who is now 19 years old, but was only 5 years old at the time. It was this boy who uncovered the tangle of sexual abuse at the hands of his uncle, a man who enjoyed the family's trust and could find time alone with the children.

The defendant's victims include two brothers, a girl who is now 29 years old, her 19-year-old brother, three sisters aged 35, 38 and 43, and a woman who is now 48 years old. The rapes allegedly occurred between 1986 and 2010, sparking local outrage.
