An Air Force C-130 aircraft is scheduled to fly to the Lebanese capital Beirut on Thursday, October 3. It will deliver citizens of Greece and Cyprus from there.
As it became known, Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias had a telephone conversation with his Cypriot counterpart:

“At the request of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Cyprus @PalmasVasilis, expressed in our telephone conversation, the Greek Air Force will provide a C-130 transport aircraft to rescue Cypriot citizens from Lebanon.”
