October 2 The National Energy Regulatory Commission will release October electricity tariffs.
DEIas a responsible regulator, presented electricity prices for the population and enterprises for the current month. As DEI management announced, the final price “green” tariff for householdswhich concerns most consumers, has been reduced to 0.1496 euros per kWh, which is 6.1% less than in September. In addition, DEI also reduced prices for enterprises by 4.7% in October. In particular, prices for the “green” tariff C21 were reduced from 0.1714 euros to 0.1634 euros per kWh.
Regarding blue tariffwhich enjoys mass acceptance, DEI maintains a guaranteed fixed price for 12 months: 0.145 for myHomeEnter home use (0.142 for myHomeOnline) and 0.145 for myBusinessEnter business.
After appropriate falling prices on the Greek Energy Exchange in September DEI continues to reduce rates. In particular, the average wholesale price for electricity fell to 112.35 euros per megawatt-hour, while in August it was 129.83. It should be noted that analysts from the electricity market predict further de-escalation of electricity prices in the coming months, until the end of the year.
The official announcement of electricity tariffs, as well as feed-in tariff fees from independent electricity suppliers, is expected tomorrow. As you already know, major market players such as Protergia and HERON announced that they will keep electricity tariffs unchanged in October. Other providers will also publish on their websites cost of October feed-in tariffs.
