US Airlift: 101st Airborne Division Moves to Germany, Cyprus and Israel

The US has set up an airlift to Europe and the Middle East, with dozens of C-17 transport planes taking off from various bases in the US capital region and heading first to Europe and then to the Middle East.

Many transport planes take off from Fort Campbell, indicating that they are carrying personnel from the 101st Airborne Division.

There has been a significant increase in C-17 flights out of Fort Campbell, which may indicate the 101st Airborne Division is moving in. U.S. officials say the activity is related to contingency planning for the possible evacuation of U.S. personnel or civilians from Lebanon and to force adjustments in the Middle East.

The US is officially planning to evacuate American residents of Lebanon in the midst of the war with Hezbollah, but it is unclear what role 101-F will play in this. airborne division

At the same time, it is reported that the US will send additional troops to the Middle East, but it is unknown where these troops will be deployed, while there are already about 40,000 US troops in the region.

According to more recent information, C-17s are also landing in Cyprus (3 to 4) and at least one at an Israeli airbase in the Negev desert.

The United States, worried about Israel, is already sending the 101st Airborne Division. At least 3-4 C-17 cargo planes have already landed in Cyprus, and one is at a base in the Negev and several more are on their way.

It was previously assumed that nuclear weapons were being transferred to Europe…
