A surfer, wearing an action camera to film himself riding a steep wave, suddenly noticed the body of a man in the sea, a few meters from the beach of the island. The place where the body was found is the area of Lampi on the island of Kos.
The man recorded the incident and decided to upload it to his YouTube channel. The coast guard was called, and EKAB ambulance arrived 10-15 minutes later. According to MEGA, the man's body has not yet been identified, and there are no reports of missing persons on the island.
Bodies are often found in the sea in this area, and they belong to people who tried to cross the border through the Aegean Sea. However, according to the YouTuber, the man's clothing resembled that of a surfer.
The coast guard said the body had been in the water for more than a week and they believed it came from further afield rather than from any part of Greece.
