A 23-year-old woman and her three minor children endured a nightmarish moment in Rhodes when her 35-year-old husband beat her and locked her and the children in a closet.
The incident took place at noon on Monday when a man hit a woman in the face. The force of the blow was such that the young woman fell to the ground and hit a metal sheet, causing head and leg injuries. However, the man did not stop there, he dragged her into a storage room where he locked her and the children!
The woman filed a lawsuit against her husband for domestic violence and illegal detention. A case was brought against him, which was referred to the service prosecutor, who sent it for trial to the Plenary Court of Rhodes, consisting of one judge and one member.
