Four-time Grammy nominee finds herself at the center of a huge scandal (video)

Popular American singer Ingrid Endres caused a scandal: she sang the American anthem at a stadium while very drunk*.

A country singer, Endres got the chance to sing the national anthem at Globe Life Field in Texas before a basketball game. But, intoxicated, she couldn't even hit the right notes, angering the crowd.

After Ingrid's embarrassment on social network X apologized. The singer admitted that she does have problems with alcohol, adding that she has already sought help at a rehabilitation center:

“I'm not going to lie, I was drunk last night. I'm going to the hospital tonight to get the help I need. It wasn't me last night. I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for making this statement. I'll let you all know how the rehab goes, I hear it's pretty exciting.”

*Podshofe – the word comes from the French chauffe, meaning “warmed up”, and the Russian preposition “pod”, meaning “warmed up with alcohol”, “slightly drunk”. Dahl's explanatory dictionary mentions the word “podshafe” as a derivative of the French echaufe meaning “having had a good time, tipsy”.
