On popular islands, prices for booking tourist properties listed on short-term rental platforms are high. Especially on the nearby islands of Argosaronicos. Accommodation on the outer islands is more economical this year and the reason is to allow travel companies to balance out the overall package costs after ferry fares have soared.
According to AirDNA, there are 764 private houses and apartments listed on short-term rental platforms in Kalamata, 315 in Monemvasia, 382 in Nafplio, 225 in Nafpaktia and 418 in Elis Prefecture.
Kalamata. Pre-bookings on the short-term rental platform reach 80%, prices for 3 nights range from €266 for an apartment/room of 80 sq.m. with 3 bedrooms, located 700 meters from the city center.
Nafplio. There are 382 real estate properties (apartments and entire houses) registered on short-term rental platforms. Prices for 3 nights range from €269 for a 100 sqm residence located 800 meters from the center.
Prefecture of Elis. The “unknown” prefecture of the Peloponnese, with its kilometers of golden sandy beaches (which few people know about), has 418 properties listed on short-term rental platforms. Rental price for 3 nights – from €221 in a residence of 55 sq.m. in the Katakolo area.
Kiato. Prices for 3 nights range from €185 for a 90 sqm residence. at a distance of 400 meters from the center. The pre-booking rate reaches 75%.
Xylokastro. Prices for 3 nights range from €245 for a residence of 80 sq.m. The pre-booking rate reaches 80%.
Monemvasya. Dynamics in the short-term rental industry includes 315 properties. Rental prices start from 290 euros for a residence of 50 sq.m., and advance booking reaches 93%.
Nafpaktia. Prices for 3 nights range from €248 for a 65 sqm residence. at a distance of 500 meters from the center of Nafpaktos. The pre-booking rate reaches 72%, and the dynamics of space in the short-term rental sector totals 225 properties.
Oropos. Rental prices for 3 nights start from 176 euros in a residence of 70 sq.m. The percentage of advance booking reaches 70%.
Oitilo (Laconia). In the picturesque town of Oitilo Availability of real estate for rent for three days of the Holy Spirit is zero. It is worth noting that the level of advance booking for destinations in Eastern Mani reaches 72%.
