Three Greek islands Scandinavians love

In the Scandinavian tourism market, three Greek islands stand out: Tinos, Milos and Syros.

At the initiative of the EOT office of the Scandinavian countries, the three Cycladic islands are included, along with others, in the advertising program for 2023 in the travel media Vagabond, Firstclassmagazine and Hellofromgreece in Sweden, as well as in magasinet-reiselyst in Norway and Travelbynomas in Denmark.

It should be noted that Scandinavia is an important tourism market for the Cyclades. In the recent past, EOT leadership made efforts to attract older travelers and retirees in order to extend the tourist season.

According to Apollo Travel Group (70% of sales in Greece), a record was recently set: pre-sales of “packages” of its overall program for this summer have already reached 60%.

Actually, according to the data of the first quarter and preliminary sales of the last quarter of 2022, sales of tourist “packages” of holidays and vouchers for 2023 surpassed all ratings and stepped over the planned figures for this year’s tourist season.
