The weather will be very unsettled over the weekend. In the next three days, rain and thunderstorms are expected in the central and northern regions of Greece.

Today, Wednesday 7/06, in the morning there is good weather in most geographical areas – mostly sunny, partly cloudy. However, storms will begin in the Cyclades, Crete and Dodecanese in the afternoon.

On Thursday and Friday (8 and 9/06) in the afternoon in the mountains of mainland Greece and possibly in the mountains of Crete, there will be rain and storms. North wind, from 4 to 5 on the Beaufort scale, the air temperature will not change significantly.

By all indications, bad weather is expected on Saturday (10/06) in central-eastern Macedonia and Thrace, as well as on Sunday and Monday (11 and 12/06) in the rest of mainland Greece. As for the wind and air temperature, no significant changes are expected. The weather in Athens will be good, clear, with partly cloudy. The maximum air temperature will be from +27 to +29°С.

According to the network of automatic weather stations of the National Observatory of Athens/meteo.gr, the maximum temperatures on Tuesday 06.06 locally exceeded +32°C in the southern continental parts of the country.
