Chinese Foreign Minister to visit Europe

In the coming days, the head of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is expected to visit Europe – Qin Gang will visit Germany, France and Norway at the invitation of the foreign ministries of these countries.

China did not disclose details about the planned talks. Qin Gang’s visit will take place against the backdrop of earlier visits to China by European leaders – German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Experts note that China seeks to mediate between Moscow and Kiev. Qin’s first European visit is scheduled for May 9 – today he will be received in Berlin by Annalena Burbock.
