Residents of Heraklion in Crete woke up at 5 am to a deafening noise to find their balcony… gone.
The incident, fortunately without casualties, occurred yesterday, at dawn on Thursday, in the N. Alikarnas area, tells cretapost.gr. Residents of the area also woke up from a strong “clap”.
Employees of the First Police Department of Heraklion (Α΄αστυνομικού Τμήματος Ηρακλείου) and employees of ΔΕΗ.
Firefighters have removed debris from the balcony structure from the road, and police are investigating how it could have collapsed.
