The former first lady of the United States and the Taliban “clashed” on twitter. At the same time, the post of the latter scored three times more “likes”.
Hillary Clinton demanded that the Taliban give Afghan girls access to education. The answer followed immediately. The Taliban accused her of leaving a “complete mess” in Afghanistan and at the same time pricked her with her husband’s sensational betrayal.
The Twitter spat began with Ms. Clinton’s post on March 22:
“Tomorrow, girls in Afghanistan are supposed to go back to school, but the Taliban only allow boys to get an education.”
The response came from the Taliban’s public relations department:
“You spent $700 million in our country to teach our women and girls that there are 140 different genders. No wonder you lost to the orange gangster (Donald Trump, who won the Clinton elections in 2016). You left Afghanistan a complete mess like your husband on that dress (reference to Monica Lewinsky’s dress).”
According to users, the Taliban’s comment received three times more likes than Hillary Clinton’s post.
