In Russia, there is an increase in demand for European real estate, despite the current restrictions.
From the beginning of 2023 to March 15, experts record an increase in interest in properties in Europe by 54% compared to 2019. In 2022, Russian citizens bought apartments in Europe more than now, by 5%.
Edition “GreekReporter” notesthat Cyprus is the leading destination, followed by Greece and France. However, in some countries there is a decrease in demand for real estate – in Portugal, Montenegro, Germany and Italy.
Analysts note that not a single European country has yet formally banned the purchase of housing by Russians. Although they state that periodically there are problems with the transfer of funds.
Earlier, our publication wrote that in the past 2022 increased demand Russians on Cypriot real estate, having increased by 14.67% over 11 months. Greece is in the top ten leading countries in terms of investment attractiveness.
