Greece: attempted kidnapping of a 6-year-old boy

There was an attempted kidnapping of a 6-year-old child in the Ano Liosia region of Attica.

Fortunately, kidnapping ended in failure, according to iefimerida.gr. Except for the fact that the child’s psyche has suffered, and, apparently, the baby’s mother will have to turn to a child psychologist, since the child was very scared.

According to a police complaint by a 34-year-old mother, an unidentified person tried to kidnap her son in the Ano Liosion area. As stated in the document filed in ΕΛΑΣshortly after midnight on Thursday, an unidentified man tried to put her child in his car, but ultimately failed and sped away from the scene.

According to APE-MPE, the local law enforcement department Τμήμα Ασφαλείας Φυλής is investigating the alleged incident, finding out the details of what happened.
