A temporary decrease in temperature is expected today, 03/13/2023. Showers and thunderstorms in Kastelorizo, intermittent rain in the east and south of Greece, north wind force 6-8 on the Beaufort scale in the Aegean Sea, snowfall in the mountains of central Greece.
According to meteorologists, cloudiness is expected throughout the country, denser in the east and south, with short-term local rains in the regions of Eastern Thessaly, Evia, the South Ionian Sea, the Peloponnese, in the center and east of the mainland and in Crete.
The air temperature will drop and will fluctuate in Northern Greece from -4°С to +14°С, in Thessaly from 2°С to 14°С, in Epirus from 2°С to 16°С, in the rest of the mainland from 7°С up to 15-17°С. On the Ionian Islands the temperature will vary from 8°С to 18°С, on the islands of the Aegean Sea and Crete from 9°С to 15°С, and in the Dodecanese the air will warm up to 17-18°С.
North wind force 6-7 on the Beaufort scale, in places up to 8, will blow in the Aegean Sea. In the Ionian Sea, an easterly wind up to 5 on the Beaufort scale will gradually change direction to the north/northwest at first.
In Attica slightly cloudy, denser and with little precipitation in the north and east. Wind north/northeast force 4-5, in places up to 6 on the Beaufort scale. Temperature 9-15°C.
In Thessaloniki little cloudiness. Wind northwest up to 4 on the Beaufort scale. Air temperature 6-13°С.
