A new strong earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale struck at 19:04 (Greek time) on Monday afternoon (February 20) on the Turkish-Syrian border.

According to the Euro-Mediterranean Institute, the earthquake’s epicenter is located 75 km southeast of Latakia in Syria and 9 km southeast of Antioch in Turkey, and the depth of the focus is estimated at 2 km.
