Nea Smyrni: four robbers broke into the couple’s house at knifepoint

A couple lived through a nightmare night, residents of the metropolitan area of ​​Nea Smyrni. The robbers broke into the house and, threatening with knives, robbed.

According to Greek law enforcement, at around 04:30 am, the attackers broke down the door and immediately after that immobilized the 68-year-old man and his 64-year-old wife, threatening them with knives they held in their hands.

The robbers said they would kill them if they did not give up all the money they had in the house. The criminals searched all the rooms and found a safe, from where they seized the sum of money. Then, satisfied with the “prey”, they immediately retreated. The couple immediately called the police. At the same time, emergency responders rushed to the scene. The police are investigating to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
