Akila, the four-legged servant ΕΛ.ΑΣ., found a consignment of drugs in a car stopped for inspection.
Packets of heroin and cocaine hidden in the lining of a child’s car seat were discovered by a police dog. The checks were carried out in the area of eastern Thessaloniki. Officers of the police department for combating drug trafficking, with the assistance of a police dog from the Halkidiki Police Department, found drugs in the child seat: heroin weighing 416 grams and cocaine weighing 54 grams.
Reportedly detained 39-year-old driver, a citizen of Bulgaria. Banned substances, mobile phone and car are confiscated. The detainee, together with the materials of the case, was brought before the Prosecutor of the First Instance of Thessaloniki.
