A resident of the eastern Thessaloniki municipality of Thermi has been arrested for illegal trafficking, possession and distribution of drugs, as well as for violating weapons laws.
After the coordinated actions of police officers “Polygyros” (Τμήματος Ασφάλειας Πολυγύρου), the aforementioned man was found hiding in the garage of his house about 165 grams of heroin, 30 grams of cocaine, 4.2 grams of marijuana, as well as a gun with a magazine and six rounds of pepper spray and electronic scales.
The detainee’s mobile phone and the amount of 2,500 euros found in the house were confiscated. A 64-year-old man, along with the materials of the case filed against him, was taken to the prosecutor of the first instance in Thessaloniki. An investigation is underway.
