ΔΥΠΑ: new employment program for the long-term unemployed

From Thursday, February 2, 2023, the submission of business applications to ΔΥΠΑ (former OAED) to be included in the business grant program to employ 3,000 unemployed people aged 56 and over.

The goal is to support all those who worked in subsidized jobs in the public sector (under the relevant ΔΥΠΑ program) and to move them into full-time employment in the private sector.

The “Interim Scheme” in the private sector subsidizes the employment of unemployed people aged 56 and over who have worked for at least the first 12 months of the long-term unemployed program aged 55-67.

The duration of the benefit is 12 months and the benefit is 715 euros per month for each employee. The program budget is 25,755,000 euros and will be covered by ΔΥΠΑ resources.
