Temperatures are dropping, chances of snow are high in Attica by the end of the week

Meteorologist Clearchos Marousakis warns: a real winter, possibly with snow in Attica, awaits us at the end of next week.

The bad weather last week, which first came to us this winter, became a “trial balloon”, warning that winter is yet to come. And it will not keep itself waiting long – already at the end of the week it will get colder and snow will fall even in low-lying areas.

The meteorologist predicts that there is a chance of snow on the islands of the Aegean Sea. For Attica, details will be announced in the coming days. However, Clearchos Marousakis advises to prepare so that last year’s history does not repeat itself, when many problems arose due to snow.

From Thursday to Friday and beyond, the main characteristics of the weather will be low temperatures with frosts in the center and north, cold north winds, heavy rain-storms and heavy snow even in the lowlands. The Aegean islands will again be dressed in white, but the cities will also fall or snow. There is a very high chance of heavy snowfall in Attica, but a more accurate forecast is in the coming days, around Wednesday-Thursday.
