AEGEAN: New Direct Routes to Tel Aviv Airport

Greek airline AEGEAN is expanding its air route network, further strengthening its presence in the Israeli market. This year there will be an additional 3 new direct regular flights from Ioannina, Chania and Kalamata to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.

Three new routes will be added in company’s summer schedule, which will soon appear in booking systems.

Recall that AEGEAN “opens” flights with Israel by regular year-round weekly flights from Athens and Thessaloniki. Wherein during the summer season regular and charter flights will be operated to a total of 9 popular destinations in Greece and Cyprus (Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Mykonos, Rhodes, Larnaca, Ioannina, Chania, Kalamata).

In addition, AEGEAN, in order to increase the tourist flow in this direction, as well as supporting the increase in the attractiveness of the Greek tourism product, which has been systematically fixed in recent years, increases the number of places offered by 50% compared to the previous year.

Recall that AEGEAN has been operating flights to Israel and back on regular and charter flights since 2002, constantly increasing its activity and transporting a total of 4 million passengers.
