Thessaloniki: two Poles found at sea in Nei Epivates, only one was saved

At around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, emergency services received a signal about two men at sea in Nei Epivates, located near Thessaloniki.

Coast guard forces, police, an ambulance ΕΚΑΒ, members of the ETHOPAK Thermaikos volunteer group immediately arrived on the scene.

The men turned out to be tourists from Poland, about 35-40 years old. Presumably, they consumed alcohol before being in the sea. One of them was found lifeless. Despite the incredible efforts of doctors, it was not possible to bring him back to life, writes THESTIVAL. The second was rushed to the Papanikolaou hospital in Thessaloniki.
