About 11 months later, the war in Ukraine rages with unrelenting brutality. The German intelligence services, according to Der Spiegel magazine, are concerned about Kyiv’s losses in battles with Russian troops in the city of Bakhmut.
The German secret services (BND), according to the Spiegel report, have calculatedthat the Ukrainian army is losing a three-digit number of soldiers every day.

According to the same sources, this was reported to a group of German parliamentarians dealing with security issues during a secret meeting this week. The BND has warned that the capture of Bakhmut by Russian forces would have significant repercussions, as they could galvanize Russia into further offensives.

“Big Arrow Day. In Zaporizhia, Lobkove and Malye Shcherbaky have been liberated, currently moving towards securing the nearby village of Shcherbaky. In Bakhmut, the orchestra (Wagner PMC) is advancing towards Ivanovsky and Krasnaya Gora. The supply lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Bakhmut have been practically cut.”
