In the center of the Greek capital there was a mass brawl of foreigners, which ended with one dead, two more injured.
The incident took place in Omonia Square, at the intersection of Agisilaou and Voulgari streets, at 7 pm on Sunday. Two groups of participants were armed with sharp objects. First, verbal clashes began between foreigners, there are reports of a group of people of Afghan origin, and then the situation got out of control, and knives were used.
According to police, three participants received penetrating wounds and were taken by ambulance to the hospital. One, with more serious injuries, died.
The police have cordoned off the area and are investigating whether there are other accomplices in the carnage, writes newsbeast.gr.
